We could not be more proud to share the exciting news that Lisha from our Gilesgate salon has been chosen as a member of Schwarzkopf Professional’s Young Artistic Team.

Lisha was chosen after a national search for the top six young hairdressers in the country. During the rigorous selection process she had to create an online entry to come up with a creative concept, then attend a live session where she showcased her hairdressing skills to create a trend-driven look.

Lisha, 20, has been at Janet Maitland since starting as a Saturday girl when she was 15, so the whole team were really supportive in helping her achieve her goal.

“We are completely delighted for Lisha, the whole team was behind her. It is a big deal for her to win it and she is going to have a brilliant year growing her skills, connections and confidence in all areas of the hairdressing arena,” say Peter.
